MINUTES:
MOTION by Morissette to accept as posted, 2nd Brown,
motion carried.
PRESIDENT
REPORT:
Discussed problems with the acting list.
Capt. Young had to have his name removed from the list
reference and earlier grievance. No one has received any thing in writing
about his or her test scores.
MOTION by Yarbrough to send a letter of endorsement to Armand
Nault for Florida House of Representatives
District 89, 2nd Coulter, motion carried.
Discussed new calling system that will call a Union Members phone or cell
phone with a prerecorded message.
It can be used to call about a meeting, poll Union Members about a
specific item or etc.
MOTION by Koenig to use the calling system to call Union Members
and etc. with a limit of $500.00 a
quarter, 2nd Platt, motion carried.
Discussed Inoperative Comunication System Notification Memoranda made up
by the Union.
The price with Legal Line is going up.
The Negotiation meeting with the City of Melbourne will be on July 18,
2002 at 10:00 A.M. in the annex building.
TREASURER
REPORT:
MOTION by Platt to accept the Treasurer Report and to move $192.00
from line 14a to line 12d of the General Fund, this is for Bonding and two
service charges and move $291.71 from line 14a of the
General Fund to line 3d of the Benevolent, this is for Bibles, 2nd
Brown, motion carried.

REPORT:
Discussed having a B-B-Q in Sept.
Local 1951 will be putting on there 9th Annual Golf Tournament
to benefit MDA on August 31, 2002 at the
Harbor City Golf Course.
Local 1951 will be putting on there 2nd Annual Poker Run to
benefit MDA on August 01, 2002 time and
place to be announced later.
NEW
BUSINESS:
MOTION by Coulter to take $1,500.00 out of the Political Sign
Account and send it to the FPF Fire Pac Fund,
2nd Peterman, this money is for the City for Melbourne Council seats
2, 4 and 7 elections, $500.00 to each
seat, motion carried.
Discussed Fire Fighters Combat Challenge, things like this needs to be
put on the agenda for the Quarterly Meeting.
MOTION by Michaud to adjourn, 2nd Yarbrough, motion
carried.
