TREASURER
REPORT:
MOTION by Avilla to accept 2004-2005 budget as amended, 2nd
Hammer, motion carried.
MOTION by Avilla to move $2,500.00 from line 14a of the General
Fund to line 6b of the General Fund, this
is for a copier, 2nd Rann, motion carried.
MOTION by Avilla to accept Treasurer Report, 2nd
Hammer, motion carried.
VICE-PRESIDENT
REPORT:
The Union will try to do a boot drive for MDA.
There will be a Golf Tournament for MDA on August 7, 2004 at the Harbor
City Golf Course and immediately following
a BBQ at Wids Place, 2852 Sarno Rd.
There will be a Retirement BBQ Party at Melbourne Police FOP Lodge at
1063 Julia Dr., on May 1, 2004, from 1:00
P.M. to 6:00 P.M., this is on B Shift.
Palm Bay Firefighters Local 2446 would like to challenge Melbourne
Firefighters Local 1951 to a ladder climb
for MDA, more information to come.

REPORT:
Discussed the promotional list, President Tolley has made up a database
for the promotional list.
MOTION by Avilla to have the three Assistant Chiefs recommend one
Lt and one Driver to Chief Chamberlin for
promotion, 2nd Rethwisch, motion carried.

Discussed TV Cable for Station 73, Wireless Broadcast has cut service off
to Station 73, they no longer provide this
service; President Tolley is checking with Brighthouse to see what it will take
to get cable to Station 73.
MOTION
by Coulter to donate $250.00 from line 3g of the Benevolent Fund to “The
Friends of Dominick Barbera”, this is for an Appreciation Reception at the
IAFF Convention in Boston Massachusetts to honor his 20 years of service and to
support Dominick Barbera for his reelection to
the 12th District Vice President of the IAFF, 2nd Waite,
motion carried.
MOTION
by Avilla to donate $250.00 to the Jackie Colon reelection campaign for Brevard
County Commissioner
District Five, 2nd Coulter, motion carried.
MOTION
by Rann to send $2,000.00 from the Political Sign Account to the FPF Pac Fund, 2nd
